Nothing except for this sign (and maybe the basketball hoop) remains of the Mohawk Park from when I was a kid. They replaced all the cool wooden/aluminum equipment with shitty plastic crap. MeganMorris on Flickr: Posted a Photo
I drug Ian, Katie, Emily, Junnhi and my mom out to our old neighborhood to check out Mohawk Park, my favorite park when I was a kid. It was a sad disappointment, with nothing remaining from my youth. MeganMorris on Flickr: Posted a Photo
When we were kids, Katie and I would walk a few blocks down from our house to Mohawk Park, which used to be a righteous park tucked away in a very wooded, secluded area.
While Ian and I were in town, I made everyone drive over to Mohawk Park so I could take some pictures.
I almost cried when I saw they had torn down all of the old wooden structures, including the monkey bars, tire swing and aluminum slides, as well as a merry-go-round and other unique park stuffs.
There are hardly any trees there now, and the park equipment is just generic crappy park shit.
Nothing remains of the magical park of my youth. wild mercury on Flickr: Posted a Photo
